Moving well on the wiring for the Buell. The goal is to wire the entire bike using only a cannibalized version of the stock harness. The skill is in being able to cleanly strip the unnecessary wiring and then neatly apply what's left to make everything work. That step separates the men from the fags that watch too much American Chopper. A whole lot easier said than done, but I make it happen.
Good times are finally on the horizon. A couple days in Daytona this week, the swap meet at the end of the month, then two months to the Long Road, Smoke Out, and Faro. Since taking pics of wiring a bike would be fucking boring, here's a morally casual young lady posing with my bike from a shoot a few years ago.

Bare Knuckle Brawler
Making it look easy on the Buell. Tailight mounted(the side mount Kury-Akyn unit just wasn't working with the bike), sweet battery box set-up fabbed and mounted nice and snug behind the motor, and likely the slickest choke bracket ever made by a man.
My only disappointment is that I don't get to keep this thing. I just hope that damn Disco Dave appreciates the sweet work I'm turning out for him.

By Land & Sea
It's been cold for too damn long, so what can you do? Look at pics of trips you've taken of course. This is me, Mike, and John lining up to get on the ferry out of Larne, Northern Ireland headed over to Scotland. This trip was the first time I'd taken a bike onto a ferry(twice) and it's pretty cool. You ride on, strap the bike down, then head upstairs and chill out until the boat gets you across the water. You get the high sign, strap on your lid and ride off into another country. Can't wait to get back to riding in Europe this summer with the boys.

Rare Sighting
Buellshit
I've been getting a lot of the detail work finished on the Buell lately. The stuff that you blow off when you're first starting the bike, but now it's got to get done. Among other things, I trimmed down the sprocket cover and re-did the mount for the rear master cylinder reservoir. I can't help but think about how many of these little details will go unnoticed by 95% of the people who see the bike when it's finished. I find my own personal satisfaction in the little details.

Fuck You Winter!!!!
Crazy snow storms all over the North, shitty rain and cold here in the South. I've ridden maybe 100 miles in the last two months! Fuck that. You never really appreciate the good riding weather until it's gone. I'm ready motherfuckers. I'm going to ride my ass off this year. Long Road, Smoke Out, Europe, wherever. I'm beyond ready.
