The crew set up at the swap meet in Charlotte for possibly the last time. We're all running out of stuff to sell, which is good for the most part. We all did pretty well on Saturday which was good since Sunday was pretty dead. Either way, we had our brand of fun and got to fuck with some of the goofballs you can always count on being there. And if anybody wants an old OIF Triumph frame, I've got one cheap.
Jimmy's answer when a guy asked if he'd sell a part labeled $20 for a dollar.
They're giving out weird cups at McDonald's these days, Ed didn't mind.

The One That Got Away
Time has come to say goodbye to Disco Dave's Buell project. Due to a laundry list of circumstances the bike is moving on. Bill said today that it may end somebody's "barn find" some years from now. I just hope it sees the road at some point, it's got too much fun in it not to.

Original Content Coming Soon.
Several parts due to be here today, so progress on the Walsh bike will move forward very soon. Until then, dig this sweet wheel from Deus Ex Machina.

Straight Ahead
Got the seat mounted, fork stops made, chronic flat front tire issue fixed, removed the stock fatbob tank mounts, and started making a list of everything else this moto is going to need to realize it's dream of becoming a real boy, er, bike. It's coming along.
Overlooking the Evil Chop, hoping it can grow up to be just as cool.

Shop Time is Good Time
Spent several hours last night on the Walsh project and it's looking pretty good so far. Motor and trans. installed and aligned, S&S carburetor and intake manifold installed, oil tank installed and oil lines cut and fitted, and bunch of little things. Mainly good to jump into it full speed and start making it come together. Next will be fabbing mounts to install the gas tank and welding on the kick ass Fab Kevin front & rear seat mounts. Work continues........
Always an Adventure
With an 80 degree, sunny day in store on March 1 Jimmy and I hit the road for a ride out in the country. Despite two separate instances where each of us forgot that motorcycles need fuel to run, we had a good ride and discovered a couple real nice stretches of road in the area. A sweet weekday ride, one of the few upsides to being unemployed.
